PisoBot ("we," "our," or "us") operates the website https://pisobot.vercel.app and provides an AI chatbot builder service for Facebook Messenger. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information.

1. Information We Collect

Account Information

When you sign up, we collect your email address and authentication credentials.

Facebook Page Data

When you connect your Facebook Page, we access and store:

  • Your Facebook Page name and ID
  • A Page access token (to send and receive messages on your behalf)
  • A list of Pages you manage (to let you choose which one to connect)

Messenger Conversations

When customers message your connected Facebook Page, we receive and store:

  • Message content (text only)
  • Sender's Page-Scoped User ID (PSID)
  • Sender's name and profile picture (if available)
  • Timestamps

We use this data solely to process and respond to messages through your chatbot.

Bot Configuration

We store the chatbot settings you configure, including welcome messages, FAQ items, menu items, business hours, and AI settings.

2. How We Use Your Information

  • To provide the chatbot service — receiving, processing, and responding to Messenger messages
  • To display conversations and leads in your dashboard
  • To improve our AI response quality
  • To process payments and manage your subscription
  • To send you important service updates

3. Data Sharing

We do not sell your data. We share data only with:

  • Facebook/Meta — to send and receive Messenger messages via their API
  • Anthropic (Claude AI) — message content is sent to generate AI responses (when AI is enabled)
  • Supabase — our database provider, where your data is stored securely
  • PayMongo — to process payments (we do not store credit card details)

4. Data Storage and Security

Your data is stored on Supabase servers in Singapore. We use Row Level Security (RLS) to ensure you can only access your own data. All connections are encrypted via HTTPS. Page access tokens are stored securely and never exposed to the client.

5. Data Retention

We retain your data as long as your account is active. You can delete your account and all associated data by contacting us. Conversation data is retained for the duration of your subscription.

6. Your Rights

You have the right to:

  • Access the personal data we hold about you
  • Request deletion of your data
  • Disconnect your Facebook Page at any time
  • Export your leads data (CSV export)
  • Disable AI processing of messages

7. Facebook Platform Data

Our use of information received from Facebook APIs adheres to the Meta Platform Terms and Developer Policies, including the Limited Data Use requirements. We only request permissions necessary for the chatbot service to function.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes via email or through the app.
